Hungry Man:

Cook 3/4 of one box of thin spaghetti noodles , drain and set aside.

In a large frying pan, cut one pound of bacon into 1/2 inch strips and fry until brown.

Remove the cooked bacon and remove all but 1 tablespoon of bacon grease.

Add the bacon to the noodles into the frying pan, mix well together and heat until noodles brown.

Serve and add ketchup to taste. ( Yes, Ketchup! )

Quiche:

Use an assortment of the following vegetables ( diced ):

Onions

Zuchinni

Spinach

Red and or Yellow Peppers

Mushrooms

Carrots

In a hot sauce pan, saute vegetables for 1 to 2 minutes, adding thyme, garlic, salt and pepper to taste.   If using spinach, add at the very end of cooking. Let sauteed vegetables drain.

In the meantime, mix the custard for the quiche. We do not have a set recipe for the custard. Generally:

Mix 6 eggs, 1 cup sour cream, 1 cup of half-n-half and salt and pepper to taste.

For the crust, we use store-bought crusts and pre-bake in a 350 degree oven for 10 to 15 minutes.

To assemble, add sauteed vegetables, your favorite cheeses and top-off with custard.  Pace on a cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes or until firm.   Let cool for about 10 minutes and then ready to cut.
